PANS PANDAS UK

Challenge for PANS PANDAS UK 2025

For families living with PANS or PANDAS, every day can be a challenge. With your help, we can ease their daily struggle.

Join Challenge for PANS PANDAS UK as we take on our biggest challenge yet, to collectively walk the length of the UK; 874 miles together.

We want to demonstrate how families across the length (and breadth!) of the UK are affected by these conditions.

On this page, you’ll find all the information, FAQs and social media resources to take part and help us spread awareness.

By putting yourself in the shoes of families living with PANS and PANDAS and commiting to walking 50 miles in July and August, every step you take will boost awareness of these conditions.

Every donation received will go toward our work to push for the change that’s desperately needed.

To help spread awareness, everyone who fundraises for us and raises more than £50 will receive a Challenge t-shirt to wear whilst clocking up the miles!

This is a mock-up; your t-shirt might look slightly different, especially after your fundraising adventure!

Challenge for PANS PANDAS UK: FAQs

A walking challenge isn’t for me. Can I do something else towards the Challenge?

We understand that walking isn’t for everyone and isn’t always possible. If you want to complete the challenge in another way, then go for it!  You could invite friends for coffee, have a fancy dress day at work, or challenge your family to a sponsored silence!

Simply follow the same steps for setting up your fundraiser and if you’d like any help developing your idea, please get in touch with our fundraising team.

Just be sure to post your progress and keep your fundraising page up to date so friends and family can cheer you on.

How do I raise money?

Once you’ve started a JustGiving fundraising page, share your fundraiser with friends and family. They can visit your page to sponsor you, leave a good luck message, and view your updates or any activity you might log.

Can I raise money offline instead?

Absolutely. You can fundraise in any way that’s easiest for you. If you would like a sponsorship form, you can download one here.

Is there a fundraising target?

There is no minimum amount that we would like you raise. Whatever amount you raise will go towards our work to support families living with PANS and PANDAS.

How do I get my t-shirt?

We’ll send you a Challenge for PANS PANDAS UK t-shirt after you’ve set up your fundraiser on JustGiving and raised more than £50. Our fundraising team will contact you once your page is live to arrange delivery.

You should receive your T-shirt within 10 working days of starting your fundraiser.

If you haven’t received this in that time, please email our fundraising team at fundraising@panspandasuk.org.

Please make sure to set up your fundraiser with an email address you can access, as you will receive a Royal Mail notification to confirm your pack is on the way to you.

My family and friends want to do the challenge with me. Can they have t-shirts?

Wonderful news! Simply ask them to start a fundraiser via our JustGiving campaign page and once they have raised more than £50, we’ll send them a T-shirt.

How do I track the miles I’ve completed

We suggest using the paper tracker, which you can download below.

What if I don’t complete the challenge?

The only thing that matters is taking part and challenging yourself to do as much as you can throughout July and August. Every step taken helps to spread awareness about these conditions.

How do I pay in my fundraiser?

If you’ve fundraised via JustGiving, you don’t need to do anything; every donation you’ve raised will come directly to us.

If you’ve collected offline, the easiest way to pay these donations in is via our website. Make sure to say in the ‘Tell Us About Your Gift’ section that your donation is for your  Challenge for PANS PANDAS UK 2025 so we can add it to your total. Remember to scan or photograph your sponsorship form and email it to fundraising@panspandasuk.org after donating so we can claim valuable gift aid.

If you’re not able to donate this way, please email our fundraising team to discuss other ways of getting the donations to us.
