A warm welcome to new Trustee, Andrew Koss…

PANS PANDAS UK is delighted to welcome Andrew Koss to the Board of Trustees. With a wealth of experience within strategy, finance and corporate governance, Andrew will support PANS PANDAS UK as it expands and drives forward change for the UK PANS PANDAS community.

Andrew Koss has worked in the banking and corporate sectors for over 30 years, predominantly within the electricity sector. For the last 9 years, he has been CEO of two electricity generation companies, one operating in the UK and the second in the UK and Middle East.

Andrew said of his new appointment, “As a parent of a child diagnosed with PANDAS and having witnessed first-hand the support provided by PANS PANDAS UK, it feels good to be able to give something back to the charity and all those affected by PANS and PANDAS. I am keen to support the amazing work the charity is doing to raise awareness among schools, the medical profession and the wider community.”

PANS PANDAS UK Chair Vicky Burford said, “I was delighted to read Andrew’s application for a place on the Board of Trustees. Andrew brings such a wealth of experience in board management, finance and income generation. As a chartered accountant the board of trustees will be greatly strengthened by the attributes Andrew brings and I cannot wait to start working with him.”

Andrew would like to see wider recognition of PANS and PANDAS across the UK and equitable access to healthcare for all those affected. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys travelling, running, rugby and football. Of the latter he says “I am a big sports fan and support Tottenham Hotspur, having grown up in North London, so I am an eternal optimist!”

Welcome to the Board Andrew.
