PANS and PANDAS Hit the Headlines

PANS PANDAS UK were delighted to speak to Natasha Loder, Health Editor of The Economist, earlier this month about PANS and PANDAS, the challenges faced by UK families and the work we are doing to build brighter futures for all those affected by the conditions.

We congratulate Natasha on bringing PANS and PANDAS to the attention of so many, and for her success in capturing the current barriers to treatment and the emerging shift in the UK towards greater awareness and better care and support for these young people and their families. Her article will, no doubt, play an important role in getting the message out that, in some cases, psychiatric symptoms may have a physical cause.
