PANS PANDAS UK welcomes newest trustee

PANS PANDAS UK welcomes newest trustee Image

We are delighted to give a very warm welcome to Rebecca Huitson, our most recent recruit to the PANS PANDAS UK Board of Trustees.

Rebecca brings to the Board her experience of working within the charity sector and a wealth of knowledge about fundraising and marketing.

Of her new appointment, Rebecca said, “PANS PANDAS UK have supported my family personally and also friends of the family in so many ways. I am proud to be able to give that support back and look forward to helping the charity reach as many people as possible.”

Rebecca says she would like to see “an increase in understanding for those affected by PANS and PANDAS in the UK, not just in schools and healthcare, but in every day life so that they feel they can go anywhere and know they can access any support needed.”

Chair of Trustees, Vicky Burford, said, “I am so thrilled to welcome Rebecca to the board of trustees. Rebecca is the sibling of a young person with PANS and the youngest trustee on the board. I’m really excited about the fresh and valuable perspective Rebecca will bring to the board and with her pragmatic wisdom combined with her experience of working in the charity sector I really look forward to working with her.”

Welcome to PANS PANDAS UK Rebecca!
