We love that our community is passionate about spreading awareness of PANS PANDAS UK’s work. Our content, logo and branding reflect who we are and the values we stand for, so it is important they’re used with care and respect.

This page is about copyright and fair use of our logo and intellectual property.

Our logo and branding

PANS PANDAS UK holds full copyright and intellectual property rights to our logo and all branded materials.

We’re delighted to offer official merchandise through our own channels. You are very welcome to wear, share and enjoy these items to help raise awareness.

Please don’t use our logo or branding on other materials – such as leaflets, posters, websites, or social media – unless you have had written permission from us.

Using our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership with us when there is none is not allowed. If you wish to partner with PANS PANDAS UK, please first read our position statement regarding evidence over influence.

Copyright and Permissions

We are committed to sharing information to help people living with PANS and PANDAS and those who support them. You can read and use everything on our website freely for personal use. However, if you would like to use it in other ways, we have shared some guidance below:

Can I quote from your website, resources or materials?

Yes — you’re welcome to use up to 200 words from our resources in places like websites, printed materials or presentations (excluding personal experience quotes).

When you do, please include the following attribution:

© PANS PANDAS UK. Information is published in full at www.panspandasuk.org

Where possible, please also include a direct link to the original page.

If you need to quote more than 200 words, please contact our communications team.

Can I use your information in my student coursework?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to incorporate our information or resources into your essays or coursework. Please ensure they are appropriately cited and referenced.

Can I print your PDFs or booklets?

For personal use: Yes, feel free to print as many copies as you need for yourself.

For professionals or organisations: Please contact us if you’d like to distribute printed copies (for example, at an event or in a workplace). As long as the materials are used in full, not edited, and clearly credited to PANS PANDAS UK, we’re usually happy to agree.

Please don’t reproduce or sell our materials for profit.

Can I link to the PANS PANDAS UK website?

Yes, please do! We welcome links to our resources and are happy to answer any questions if you’re unsure about how to do this.

Can I translate your materials?

Please contact us to discuss permissions before translating anything.

Can I use images, photos or graphics from PANS PANDAS UK’s materials?

You can share images of the covers of our reports when linking to them — just include a link back to our site and don’t edit the image.

All other images have been created for exclusive use by us. This helps people we are working with know when they are communicating with us, and when they are not.

Please do not remove or reuse these images in new content/ This can makes it hard for us to keep everything accurate and up to date.

Our logo should not be used without our express written permission.

Still not sure?

If you have any questions or would like permission for something not covered here, please email us at info@panspandasuk.org.

We’re here to help make sure our information is shared in a way that’s helpful and respectful. Following the guidance above keeps everyone safer.

Thank you, from everyone at PANS PANDAS UK.
