Chris Derrer joins the Board of Trustees

Date Published: 19/06/2024

It is with great pleasure that we welcome new Trustee, Chris Derrer to the PANS PANDAS UK Board of Trustees.

With over fifteen years of experience in digital marketing, fundraising and income generation, and as founder and Managing Director of a digital marketing agency, Chris has a strong track record of working with charities to support their reach and growth.

Of his new appointment Chris said, “When my son first experienced the OCD symptoms and behavioural changes so commonly caused by PANS and PANDAS, we had no idea what was going on. We were so frightened about what was happening to him and nobody seemed to be able to help, until we found the PANS PANDAS UK website. The sense of relief this offered to us was indescribable. I am beyond proud to be able to contribute as a trustee to help other families access all of the information they need about PANS and PANDAS as quickly and easily as possible. It is a privilege to be able to contribute in the prevention of any families having to go through what we and so many others have had to endure in the search for answers.”

Vicky Burford, Chair of Trustees, said, “Chris has already given so much to PANS PANDAS UK with the pro-bono development of our fabulous new accessible website, and I am so grateful to him and Super Digital for their generosity.  I was then even more delighted when Chris applied to become a trustee.  The digital, social media, comms and marketing skills he brings to the board fill a much needed gap in our skillset, and I am so pleased to have him on board.”

Welcome to the Board Chris!
