CPD accreditation awarded for PANS and PANDAS Educational Psychologist Training.

We’re pleased to announce our new CPD-accredited training:
A guide for Educational Psychologists: Supporting children and young people with PANS or PANDAS
the first of its kind!

This training addresses the growing need to support children and young people living with PANS and PANDAS in schools. It provides practical guidance and tools to help professionals better understand and respond to these complex conditions.

Feedback from participants has been very positive, with many saying the training has improved their confidence and approach to supporting pupils:

‘I have already have completed EHCP assessments for a couple of children with PANS or PANDAS and a further case who showed the sudden change without ‘explanation’. [This training] will add to the thinking and hypotheses within assessments and discussion with parents/school staff.’

‘I want to ensure that my organisation takes steps to continue to learn more, to include relevant resources and sign posting and to figure out how to include and maintain awareness and knowledge of these issues in our standard practice.’

We are looking forward to promoting the training more widely in the autumn term and to taking part in the upcoming Online Festival of Educational Psychology on Friday 19th September where we will share more about the programme.

We hope this accreditation raises awareness and encourages more professionals to engage with this important area of practice. For more details and to access the training, please get in touch with Gillian, our Training Administrator.
