nasen LIVE 2025

Date Published: 07/07/2025

PANS PANDAS UK attended nasen LIVE 2025, the annual event for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), on Friday 4th July.

This event, held by the National Association for Special Educational Needs (NASEN) brings together key influencers in education, decision makers from local authorities and, most importantly, the outstanding teachers, LSAs and SENCOs who support SEND students; often including children with PANS or PANDAS.

PANS PANDAS UK were proud to have a showcase exhibition stand, promoting our resources and free training opportunities for educational professionals. Many organisations that support the SEND community were also in attendance, including our training providers, Twinkl.

“Events like this are such an important part of our work, allowing us to raise awareness amongst professionals, and to connect with other like-minded organisations.

These in-person conversations are often the foundation for collaborative working which allows us to spread our message far and wide.”

Katy – Health Policy Lead,
PANS PANDAS UK

“This fantastic event showcased the breadth of SEND support available. It was particularly notable how many educational professionals had already heard about PANS and PANDAS.

This demonstrates a real step-change towards improved awareness and support for children and young people affected by these conditions.”

Elizabeth – Communications and Engagement Officer,
PANS PANDAS UK
