Thank you James Tudor

We are so grateful to The James Tudor Foundation for their continued support of our ongoing work to provide vital information and raise awareness of PANS and PANDAS amongst clinicians, local authorities and educational professionals.

In 2024, we were awarded £10,000 for our project “PANS and PANDAS – Trauma to Hope”.
This project facilitated our programme of education and communication by supporting the development of training and resources for teachers, health and social care professionals, schools and families.
The funds allowed us to deliver three important and impactful projects:
- Development and delivery of Teacher Training
- Attending and presenting at National Educational Conferences
- Development of resources for educational professionals, schools and families.
“The vital support from The James Tudor Foundation has allowed us to expand our training for teachers and allied professionals to recognise the early signs of PANS and PANDAS. Early identification is key to ensuring children get the help they need as soon as possible. Teachers are well-placed to notice these signs, and with their support, we can improve outcomes for affected children.”

This year, we are incredibly pleased to receive a further £15,000 from the Foundation, towards our Information and Awareness Project.
This will further support our work in improving diagnosis and treatment of PANS and PANDAS as there is still so much that needs to be done in raising awareness of these conditions.
“I wish my teachers knew about PANS or PANDAS.
None of them knew about it.”– A child diagnosed with PANDAS
We plan to use the new funding award to further develop an Educational Psychology training module as Educational Psychologists play a critical role in supporting children and young people with PANS or PANDAS by facilitating early identification and providing tailored interventions to address learning barriers.
We will also continue to raise awareness about the conditions through attendance at significant Health and Education Conferences.
“On behalf of all the children and families affected by the debilitating conditions of PANS and PANDAS, we are so grateful for the continued support from The James Tudor Foundation. This award towards our Information and Awareness Project will make a huge difference for our community by improving time-critical diagnosis and ensuring appropriate treatment is given to children affected by conditions which are not yet well known nor understood.”
