DONATE

We speak to the Paediatric Dentistry Society

Date Published: 20/06/2025

PANS PANDAS UK provided information about the conditions and their effect on a young person. Professor Rajat Gupta spoke about how the conditions can affect a young patient’s presentation and restrict their ability to cooperate with dental treatment. Together, we provided practical advice for working with a young PANS or PANDAS patient, ensuring that anyone affected by the conditions can access informed dental healthcare.

It was a pleasure to join Professor Rajat Gupta to raise awareness of PANS and PANDAS and to share information with paediatric dentists about condition-specific considerations for treatment and support. Complex conditions like these require a multidisciplinary team approach and we can’t thank organisers Ajit Tanday and Helen Sanders enough for their interest and warm welcome,”
