PANS PANDAS UK

PANS PANDAS All-Party Parliamentary Group back in action

We are delighted to announce that the PANS PANDAS All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) has now officially been re-launched.

The purpose of this group is to raise awareness of PANS and PANDAS in Parliament and to advocate for support for people with PANS and PANDAS and their families.

The inaugural general meeting of the APPG took place on 8th January and paperwork to register the APPG is now complete.

The APPG has four officers;

Chair – Wendy Chamberlain, MP for North East Fife (Liberal Democrat)

Matt Bishop, MP for Forest of Dean (Labour)

John Glen, MP for Salisbury (Conservative)

James Frith, MP for Bury North (Labour)

There are a further 24 members of the APPG (full list available on request). To have such a strong membership demonstrates both the community’s need for improved standards of care and the commitment of the MPs to drive forward change for all those affected by these debilitating conditions.
