PANS PANDAS experts invited to speak at APPG meeting

Date Published: 22/04/2025

PANS PANDAS UK are pleased to be attending the upcoming business meeting of the PANS PANDAS All-Party Parliamentary Group in Westminster on 30th April 2025.

This meeting will see medical specialists in PANS and PANDAS speaking to parliamentarians about:

  • What the conditions are, the causes and symptoms
  • What the treatment pathways and best practice should look like
  • How MPs can support constituents

This will be followed by a Q&A and there will also be an opportunity for attendees to discuss SEND issues. We anticipate that the occasion will be a valuable opportunity for MPs to further their understanding of the conditions, and the steps which are necessary to improve standards of care and support for those affected in the UK.

NB: Unlike some APPG events, the focus of this meeting is business and therefore is for APPG members, MPs and speakers. We look forward to inviting community representatives to future events.
