It’s time to shine!

Date Published: 09/04/2026

Once again, we will be taking part in the amazing #LightUp4PANS campaign this year, asking local landmarks and buildings to light up in green for PANS PANDAS awareness day: 9th October.

Although there is a while to go, local councils have told us that now is the right time to start sending requests, but we need your help!

“Green shines a light on the need for compassionate, multidisciplinary care that recognises the brain–body immune connection in PANS and PANDAS and the urgent call for awareness, inclusion, and support for families on this complex journey.”

– Inflamed Brain Alliance

Use our template letter to ask your council to consider lighting a landmark (or their own building!) up in green, as part of a global effort to spread awareness of PANS and PANDAS.

Remember to let us know when you’ve had an approval, so we can update the campaign organisers and celebrate how amazing our community is!

Template letter

“International Awareness Day is a celebration of courage, community, and hope. Every step we take, from hosting international conferences to lighting up local landmarks, running marathons, or simply sharing a social media post, brings us closer to raising vital awareness of the understanding and support that every family affected by PANS and PANDAS deserves.”

– Vicky Burford, Our CEO.
