PANS, PANDAS and Fabricated or Induced Illness

PANS, PANDAS and FII; a guide for social work, healthcare and education professionals.

This guide is relevant to healthcare, social work and educational professionals who may come into contact with children and young people presenting with acute onset neuropsychiatric symptoms.

It introduces the medical disorders PANS and PANDAS and explores the reasons why a disproportionate number of UK families living with these conditions are subject to safeguarding referrals and allegations of Fabricated or Induced Illness (FII).
