For families living with PANS or PANDAS,
every day can be a challenge.

Whilst we can’t take away this challenge, we can do everything in our power to support families. We can raise awareness, advocate for more accessible healthcare, and provide information, resources and support groups …but, we can only do this with your help.

Our Summer Challenge is a great opportunity for you to help us achieve everything we want to do for our community. Please join us in July and make our Summer Challenge one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.

PANS PANDAS UK summer challenge

What is the Summer Challenge?

This year, we are encouraging you to take on a ‘challenge’ of your choice. Past fundraisers have ranged from bake sales and car washes to wing-walking and swimming across several huge Swiss Lakes (okay, that one was a bit extra…). We’ve also seen epic bike rides, hill climbs, golf days and sponsored walks; what will you think of next?

Nothing is too big or too small, because we are so grateful for everything you do for us. It’s always amazing to see what our community, and their friends and families, can do when they work together for one great cause.

We will be using JustGiving for our Summer Challenge campaign.

If you are ready to get started, visit our JustGiving campaign to set up your own page.

Looking for inspiration?

Here are just some of the things our wonderful community members have planned for this July. If a challenge isn’t possible for you right now, could you sponsor one of these supporters?

Ready to begin fundraising?

When you have an idea, you can start planning straight away! But don’t forget to email Fundraising Lead Lynn, who will be in touch to see how we can support you. If you need an idea, Lynn has hundreds of them, so ask away!

We are offering Team PANS PANDAS UK t-shirts to everyone who raises more than £50. Simply get in touch and let us know when you’ve passed this milestone.

Summer Challenge FAQs

What do I have to do?

It’s up to you! We didn’t want to be too prescriptive this year. Everything and anything you do to raise money for us in July will be massively appreciated.

Some small ideas we’ve seen are neighbourhood sponsored walks, bake sales and mini sponsored challenges. Or, you could go all out and sign up to a organised event, or set your own massive challenge like Neil Gilson!

If you are ready to get started, visit our JustGiving campaign to set up your own page.

How long do I have to complete my Summer Challenge?

Ideally, all Summer Challenges should start and finish in July, but we anticipate that some big challenges may run into August.

How do I raise money?

Once you’ve started a JustGiving fundraising page, share your fundraiser with friends and family. They can visit your page to sponsor you, leave a good luck message, and view your updates or any activity you might log.

Can I raise money offline instead?

Absolutely. You can fundraise in any way that is easiest for you. If you need help sharing your hard earned funds with us, please get in touch.

How do I pay in the money I have raised?

If you set up a fundraising page on JustGiving any donations will be automatically sent through to PANS PANDAS UK.

If you fundraise offline, please contact us to arrange the best donation method for you.

How do I get a t-shirt?

We are offering Team PANS PANDAS UK t-shirts to everyone who raises more than £50! Simply get in touch and let us know when you’ve passed this milestone.

My family and friends want to do the challenge with me. Can they have t-shirts?

Wonderful news! Simply ask them to start a fundraiser via our JustGiving campaign page and once they have raised more than £50, we’ll send them a Team PANS PANDAS UK T-shirt.

Can anyone else have a t-shirt?

Team PANS PANDAS UK t-shirts will also be available to buy in our shop, another great way to donate to PANS PANDAS UK!
